My story

I grew up and studied in Lebanon, where I earned my BSW and MSW from Saint-Joseph University and graduated with honours. For me, social work was never just a profession I was building. It is a passion and a purpose that drives my life.

I came to Canada with my young family, seeking more stability and new experiences. I know what it means to build a life between cultures: to carry one home in your heart while building another around you. That experience shapes how I listen, without asking you to explain your culture before you can talk about your pain. Since 2011, I have worked in humanitarian and clinical settings, supporting survivors of gender-based violence, children and families, and refugee communities through crisis, loss, and displacement. I have also helped adults and teens navigate crisis and trauma in the aftermath of Lebanon’s economic collapse, the Beirut blast, war, and ongoing uncertainty. Those years taught me that healing happens in safe, trusting relationships, and that no one should have to carry their hardest moments alone.

Today, as a Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist, I offer online therapy to adults, couples, and parents and children across Ontario, in Arabic, English, or French.
